Business Scale-up and Productivity

FedDev Ontario

Provides no-interest, repayable contributions from $500,000 up to $10 million per project to accelerate the growth of firms and assist with the adoption of new, innovative technologies that support scale-up, productivity, and the development of and entry into new markets to help companies become globally competitive.

Community Economic Development and Diversification

FedDev Ontario

Provides non-repayable contributions from $250,000 up to $5 million per project for not-for-profit organizations. Funding under this stream aims to generate sustainable, inclusive growth and help small and rural communities in southern Ontario to fully participate in, and benefit from economic opportunities.

Regional Innovation Ecosystem

FedDev Ontario

Provides non-repayable contributions from $500,000 up to $10 million per project for eligible organizations to not-for profit organizations to create, grow and develop strong and inclusive regional networks that support business growth and innovation, as well as the entrepreneurial environment necessary for more innovative regional economies.

Southwestern Ontario Development Fund

Government of Ontario

Provides loans and grants (only for specific circumstances) of up to 15% of eligible projects to a maximum of $500,000 to support business and community economic development projects.

Regional Development Program: Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Competitiveness Stream

Government of Ontario

This opportunity offers 15% funding to support eligible projects with an investment value over $500,000 and with a project duration of 3 to 4 years. This is a province-wide funding opportunity that targets eligible manufacturers across Ontario.

Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund

Stouffville Community Improvement Plan

Provides grants that will match the amount spent by the applicant toward the cost of the works up to a maximum of $15,000 per property or address, not to exceed 50% of the total project cost.

Wage Subsidy for Construction Employers

Magnet is supporting Buildforce Canada with their new wage subsidy program, Construction Career Pathways (CCP). This program offers companies an on-boarding support incentive where employers can get up to $2,400 for each hire (max 2) that completes a 16-week work placement.
