The Stouffville Free Press is a monthly newspaper delivered by Canada Post to 15,000 homes in Whitchurch-Stouffville. The paper was established in 2005 and has since almost doubled its circulation as a result of rapid community growth. Our focus is on local arts and culture, history, special events, festivals, sports, political analysis and the stories behind the news in the community.

The Stouffville Sun-Tribune is published once a week (Thursday) serving the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, It has a circulation of 14,000. Over the years, the Whitchurch-Stouffville community has been home to many newspapers, some of which are still delivered to our front steps. Other papers weren’t so lucky and faded into obscurity.
WhiStle Radio is Whitchurch-Stouffville’s very own radio station. We received a license from the CRTC to broadcast on 102.7 FM. Our call letters are CIWS. We are a low-power 50 watt station covering the village of Stouffville. We are governed by the CRTC’s Community Radio Policy and are a not-for-profit, volunteer driven organization with a focus on local content.
